He was hired by the coach after finally having enough money to afford one. When Madoka-chan asked coach Zhagraki about buying another Bull Centaur instead of a Minotaur when he was all the team needed, he answered that he wanted more mobility on the pitch, especially if Madoka-chan would be out of the pitch for some reason like in this game due to the rest of the team being rather slow. He was also 10k gold short of being able to buy a Minotaur, and it was a lower priority than the second Bull Centaur anyway.
