Ela knew from a young age that she wanted to join the military. She had read every book about the Militia and Guard that she could get her hands on. When she wasn't reading, she was out exercising, running, hiking, swimming, whatever she could to keep in shape. She was a standout athlete in school as well as one of the top students at the Military Academy. When she finally graduated and joined the Militia, she was expecting a much more exciting life. Unfortunately for her, the Babylonian Amazons were at peace with their neighbors. She spent 2 years on uneventful and seemingly endless patrols and guard assignments. Finally, she got permission to take leave and went to try out for the Babes. Her athletic ability made her stand out from the others, quickly earning her a spot on the team.
