Recruited from the Appalahcian State Hillbillies in the final game of Big Beast Conference play in NCBB Season #34, where Cal Norton Jr. was a veteran human catcher. (He was one of those dreaded blodger catchers who kept sticking his nose where it didn't belong!) Cal was recruited by Renée Gagnon in the second half after having enough of the little guy buzzing around. Given a jersey and a dixie cup of beer, and transferred to UTEP as a Chemistry major specializing in Green Chemistry, the lad has a bright future now at the University of Texas at El Paso.
