Robert Fastsnake was the eldest son of Marienburg merchant Oswald Fastsnake, and it was expected that he would one day take over his fathers shipping business. Robert had found a greater calling, however. It all began when he found a crumpled leaflet in the cargo hold of one of his fathers merchant ships, it told of a Great Beast that was destined to consume the world and called upon the faithful to congregate under the leadership of the Faceless Prophet. Something about this religious message spoke to Robert, who had long been searching for a deeper meaning in life beyond the mere acquisition of gold.
Soon Robert had made up his mind, and after selling all his belongings and stealing as much as he could get away with from his father he snuck aboard an outgoing merchant ship in search of the Peoples Temple of the Disciples of the Great Beast.
After months of searching Robert finally got in touch with representatives of the Temple, and was overjoyed to find out that a spot had just opened up on the Temple Blood Bowl team just for him! After donating his significant wealth to the temple he took to the field in the Temple’s match against Nagashizzar Nightmares, confident that the Great Beast would protect him.
Mere minutes later his guts were ripped out by a blood crazed werewolf, and the last thing he heard as he was bleeding out in the dugout was the Temple apothecary selling his corpse to the Nagashizzar necromancer for three copper coins.
