When interviewed post match about his MVP, Olli Jokinen was asked about the death of his teammate... he had the following to say:

"Dan was barely considered a legitimate member of the Eagles after they migrated North, and when they watched him die on the pitch, the Apothecary was flirting with the Bloodweiser babe and never batted an eye. His only value was estimated to be in being traded after this game... and he never made it... so... coach is a little mad at him... I still wouldn't want to be him... you know... because he's dead and all..."
