In the past, Raiders didn't hire any ogres, because they were against Coach Kyyberi's philosophy. But after being beated quite good buy some dwarfs even Coach Kyyberi had to admit that a big, mean, stinky lineman would be a good thing. So they went out to find one. And now they have have included in their roster Bob "the Beast" Sapp. In the future we will see if this gives Raiders the edge that they need.

In the time when Bob was signed, Raiders had casualty difference of -15.

***UPDATE***
Now Bob Sapp has played 4 games, and the Coach is not happy with him. He's inflicted only 1 casualty, and team total casualties are -4 since he came. As Coach Kyyberi says, "We hired him to boost our front line, and all he has done is enormous amount of head scratching. Either he stands up to be what we want, or he's off".

***UPDATE***
Bob Sapp has played now in 16 games, and he's inflicted only 5 casualities. And the total is -8 after his signment. Before Bob, the Raiders were 7-1-5. And after he came, they are 3-4-9. So Bob has not only being a total fumble on bashing, but he has caused many losses too. Here's what Coach Kyyberi has to say about this:
"Well, Bob is a normal ogre. Very unreliable. He does what he wants to, and doesn't listen to my orders. Or he does not stick to our game plan. And then he causes too many turnovers. And the tricky part is that I can't fire him. His agent cheated our scout, and it says in his contract that he cannot be fired or retired, and he must be put to the field when he's not injured. So what can I do? Luckily, Bob has learned at least a little about team spirit, and he doesn't do those VERY stupid things anymore. At least not that much. Maybe it helped when the whole other team gave him a little lesson".

***UPDATE***
Now after 36 games, Bob has made only 8 casualities. But it seems that the time has made it's way with him. He isn't a big turnover machine anymore, thanks to Raiders' assistant coaches and their extra work with Bob. Coach Kyyberi said few words about him:
"It is now obvious that Bob isn't a bashy player, who could smash his way through the opposing lines. But he's a hell of a player, in means of helping the rest of the team. When Bob is on the center of action, all other players in the team are much more confident about what they are doing. Although with a fists like that it wouldn't be bad if he would brake some opponent every now and then..."

***UPDATE***
After 78 games Bob is now the longest lasting player in Raiders. His cas ratio is still pretty low, about 0.2 cas per game. Although lasting 78 games against pretty tough opponents is not that bad.

***UPDATE***
After 108 games, Bob Sapp is 5th best active Star among Human Ogres. His standing in Blocking ranks is 6th. He is the most valuable active Human Ogre too.

In All-time, he is 9th best Star and 2nd most valuable.
