just look at Horsebeater - he's been taking hits at at horses all his life (hence his name).
Hitting a horse, you sometimes risk the horse kicking you back, leaving nasty marks if you do so - as happened with Horsebeater (Foul Appearance).
But, as you grow older, you also grow STRONGER from hitting them!

After having realized that beating a horse makes him stronger, Horsebeater started beating 2 up at once. And it shows! He has grown even stronger now!
3/1-2006 looks like aging caught up to him as he grew weaker..
