Araan Scarclaw
Araan is one of the players who joined the ranks of the Clar-Karond Corsairs in quite early stage. He's anything you might expect from a dark elf. He's agile, fast, strong enough to keep his own, but nothing spectacular.
However, even though Araan has never emerged as something great, he still is one of the best on what he does. He passes the ball on short throws, he carries it the needed three paces to TD. He intercepts throws every now and then, and it's not unusual to see him putting that opponent lineman or thrower out of the action with well placed block.
Coach Kilbane's comments on Araan
"Araan is one of the players of whom it's easy to forget while the game is on, but then every now and then when you look at the replays and see the stats you notice he's always there. He's actually as we speak the best active scorer on Corsairs now that Kizaroce died. He does what is needed, and most of the time, even more."
