On August 26, 2000, the album hit the number one spot on the Billboard charts. Since then, Nelly has released a string of hits including: "Country Grammar," "Ride Wit Me," "#1" and the song that gets everyone jumping "Hot in Herre."
An international star and critically acclaimed, he has received four Grammy nominations including Best Rap Solo Performance and Best Rap Album, two Source awards, an MTV Video Music Award, BET, American Music and Soul Train awards. Not just a man of music, Nelly launched his own clothing line of urban athletic wear called Vokal and starred in the independent film Snipes. Success hasn't blinded Nelly; to him it has all been a fulfillment of a dream.
Nelly recently released his latest album, Nellyville, and is currently on tour.
