After the retirement of Uboot the ogre, and death of Peter Stamovich, Tony Barnes, the relentless invisible worker of Commandos is being promoted into team assistant captain, and thus also promoted into the rank of lance corporal.
For enduring full fifty games of the brutal life of BloodBowl player, Lance corporal Tony Barnes get's a well deserved promotion to full corporal. He is a true depiction of a lineman. Always on the trenches, doing everything needed, and more often than not, getting banged up while doing it.
Against a dark elf team Which Elf Project, Barnes completed three passes, all of them important and well made. He also protected the ball and played excellent defense. It was a great game for Tony Barnes, and his hard work and dedication to the Commandos are now being rewarded with the promotion to sergeant.
After 66 games of service, Tony Barnes is being promoted into team captain, and thus also receives a promotion to Staff Sergeant. He is the third lineman to hold the captain position, and has in his versatility surpassed all expectactions placed on him when he first entered the team.
This humble worker is finally being rewarded for all of his courage and aspiration to greatness. Tony Barnes, after 69 games of Bloodbowl is being promoted into officer. The feat that he was so rewarded was once again showing that he is capable of doing anything on the field. Scoring Commando's both TD's on a 2-2 match against pro elf team Fumbbl Virtuosos really deserves a promotion, especially when it's being done by someone like Barnes, who has truly shown what humble human lineman can achieve when they put their hearts and minds into it.
Against skaven team Decayed Cheese, Tony Barnes became the longest playing Commando ever. He now has a whopping 88 games played and still going strong. During that time he has grown from a humble lineman and worker into a true star. He is a fan favourite, as well as a loved comrade. Our congratulations, amongst the promotion to full lieteunant go to Barnes.
