Against lizardsquad Theropods David decided to show what humies are worth. On lizards offense, he ran straight to a pile of skinks struggling to get the ball, managed to sustain a block from a sauri and grabbed a bouncing ball from the mass of players. Then he proceeded to blitz a skink into a casualty box and running the ball to TD zone making the sole score in the game. This really was fantastic task, and a promotion to lieteunant came with a lot of cheers and place in the hearts of BC Commando fans.
In a Warpstone Open Qualifier, against the superior favourite to go all the way to main draw, dwarf team Zug-Khazad Smeltering Inc, Neill decided to bang things up. Causing two casualties to the dwarves he really shined out on the field, and even more so when the 1-0 victory was ensured and the Commandos gained their first ever Major competition win. His smile glistened in competition with his new captain insignia.
After being promoted to the teams captainry as an assistant coach, David Neill also received another promotion, this time to the rank of Major. He ensembles the spirit and courage that humans have on the fields of Blood Bowl. They might not be as strong as orcs, not as vicious as chaos, and definitely not as agile as elves or fast as skavens, but they are at least as stubborn and at least enthusiastic as all of those races. And one day, humans will prevail.
In a bloody match against pro elf team Fumbbl Virtuosos Neill went berserk. He scored singlehandedly four casualties on the elves, thus being a major factor in securing a tie for the Commandos. Two elves laid their lives in front of him and after the game he was promoted to Lt. Colonel rank.
For surpassing former Commandos superstar Robert Chaline's casualty record, and thus becoming the top blocker of the Commandos all time, David Neill is now being promoted into the rank of colonel. And he has done all this in just 45 games being by far the youngest of all record holders in the Commandos lineup.
Commandos played again the lizard team Theropods. First game the Commandos had won with single score against nothing of the reptiles, but this time things looked gloomy for humies. At the end of the first half it was 0-2 and something needed to be done. Neill decided to take the matter into his hands, scoring four casualties on the elusive skinks of the team ensured that the opponent didn't have any kind of ballhandling ability anymore and with a magnificent comeback the Commandos took 3-2 victory from the match. Neill was promoted into Brigadier General, and is the first ever Commando to get to that rank, and all this in just 48 games. He has already earned his spot in the great players of Commandos history.
For enduring fifty games, Neill is being promoted into another completely new rank for any Commando thus far. For enduring the hard life of the field, and also being one of the most intimidating humans ever to have played the game, Neill is now being promoted into the rank of Lt. General.
Against Wood Elf team Showbiz Neill continued his play as only he knows how to. Completing a total of five casualties in the match, killing and niggling wood elf catchers, and then finally breaking an arm of a superstar thrower ensured that the woodies didn't have anything to play with against the sheer force of Commandos and the game ended 3-2 for the humies. For this absolutely amazing task Neill was awarded both Marienburg Cross and a promotion to General Major. Now only full generalship is what he can and is aiming for.
After 68 games David Neill was honourably retired from the playing fields, crushing two team records on his career, and being a true megastar. Now he works in the backgrounds for the team and shares his knowledge as an assistant coach for BC Commando
