Orcs generally are not very enthusiastic in Ball play when it comes to Blood Bowl. In fact they only recently found out the use for the tiny slab of Pig Skin. As such, the position of Thrower is always held in a strange position of fear and distaste. Generally the Orcs all gather around and see who pulls the shortest straw. Whoever draws the shortest becomes the thrower.

Being Orcs however, this also results in massive fist fights and krumped heads so that its only the weediest who ends up as the Ball carrier. Badruk unfortunately not only got beaten to a pulp by his fellows but also had several of his ribs broken in the ensuing fight. Regardless he still tries his best at doing his job, unfortunately he ends up in Line of Scrum duty on defense so despite his training, he rarely ever gets to see the ball.

*****

Badruk's career came to a sticky end during a scrap with a Khemri team. Facing down a Tomb Guardian but not forgetting his duty, he grinded his teeth in anticipation for the inevitable blow. Unfortunately his body wasn't up for it and he was later taken off on a stretcher, reportedly with a fractured skull and serious concussion. As is the nature of Orcs, the weak die and the strong persevere and Badruk being the first person to be retired from the team is a fine example of this process in action.

Thus came the short end of Badruk's career and as a result of his injury, is now incarcerated in the Ulthuan Care Centre for the Retired.
