Anna was originally a nurse attached to a company of crusading Teutonic Knights formed the the town in northern Germanic states. When the knights where held then beaten by Slav guerrillas and became a Garrison unable to seek out and destroy the Slavs in the mountainous terrain. She was then reassigned(along with Karijotas) to Othmar H Reinhart, the newly promoted to Captain to give the even newly formed Engineer company an officer the with first hand combat experience.

After the Loëwin forest massacre, she cared for Othmar day and night through the turning. She sees Othmar a sick man who needs her care and life force to make himself better rather than the monster he has become.

When they started to the games Anna was originally the team doctor, but after a few comments of "Even I could have made the block!" she was challenged to take the field. She has never looked back and her efforts on and off the field at holding victims down so Othmar can feed have been noted by both classes.

She follows him still.
