As wealthy and experienced noble, Lady Yandis took it upon herself to offer her peers the opportunity to send their young offspring to her for social education amongst equals.

Her network of contacts collected quite a few promising young talents, frustrated with being too far in line for a proper inheritance, arrogant and cold enough to strive for higher goals.

The supposed tea parties and gossip circles quickly switched to a rigorous physical workout and combat training. Because, as planned, so much ambition under one roof only had one way to go. And since all the important titles and positions are taken at the moment, bloodsports of all kinds were deemed a good way to get noticed, train in live danger, and to study the different species and their characteristics.

Right now, her ladyship and two of her close confidants lead a team of young, eager if minor noble ladies to the pitch where they shall find their ambitions realized or snuffed out completely. A welltrained manservant accompanies them, making sure of their wellbeing and comforts at all times.

The official version for the founding of the team is somewhat close to the truth, as all good lies are. These young, promising protégés were indeed taken in to get education and purpose. Differnce being, they were infants back then, stolen during Death Night and babtized in boiling oil, in alignment with the tradition of the cult of Khaine.

In a secluded monastery deep in the mountains of Naggaroth the Witch Elves put together a small elite team of Assassins. Their whole purpose being the infiltration of important events in the bloodbowl community to seek out choice targets and to gather useful intel.

The project took on a very long time, and the newly created team is far from completing their training. "Lady" Yandis, the chosen figurehead and member of the inner circle, now has to continue the training of her entrusted neophytes with the help of a selected few bladesisters and a specialised bladebrother, posing as a manservant to the "ladies".

They have to rely on their wits and secrecy, hoping for success so that maybe the Witch Elves deem it fit to send reinforcements over time.

Knowing the risks of such an endeavor, arrangements have been made, should Yandis pay the final price. Brothers and sisters are waiting in the shadows, eager to carry on the will of Khaine.
