| A bunch of 10 year olds and a toddler were bored one summer's afternoon. They were bored of playing football, climbing trees and making daisy chains. The had hours to kill before their mums had cooked them dinner and they weren't allowed any snacks before meal time. They had nothing to do. One of the ten year old's wanted to play dress-up. Not your usual mummies and daddies or doctors and nurses, but superheroes. But where were they going to get the costumes from?, i hear you ask. They looked through their washing baskets, but found nothing. They looked on other peoples washing lines, but found nothing. They even contemplated mugging someone that walked past wearing costumes, but no-one did. They had no costumes to play dress-up! As they were walking home, a mysterious-looking elder overheard their desire to play dress-up, and he offered them superhero costumes that gave them real superhero powers! They never knew that that man was a raving paedophile who liked watching children in lycra superman costumes... Every day the man let the children wear his costumes, while he watched sweatily. One day Mike's Dad saw the man watching his son, and went over to the elderly pervert and killed him in broad daylight. Mike's Dad was convicted of murder and imprisoned, but the good news is that the 10 year olds and the toddler kept their costumes and their superpowers. Two weeks later a bloodbowl league started in the nearby town and the kids, who had never seen such an amazing sport, decided unanimously to enter the league wearing their superhero costumes. Their application was spurned at first, but they were let in when they told the organisers about their extraordinary suits. And so they start their first game, and realised their suits were useless. They got the hell kicked out of them by Skaven. Skaven of all opponents, and without a Rat Ogre! After the first 5 or 6 games they started getting their powers back... |
