| Norse society is pretty homogeneous, and in the various settlements, villages and communities you’ll find numerous Bloodbowl fans, and a few who are hardy enough to be players. Historically, every society at one time or another has included Jews, and the Norse are no exception. With the creation of the State of Israel, several of the ZJN (Zionist Jewish Norse) emigrated to Israel and settled in biblical Samaria (A.K.A: The West Bank, or The Arab Occupied Territories), including the community of Neve Tzuf. The settlement of Neve Tzuf (about equal distance between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv) has numerous Blood Bowl fans, a significant number of which join the local team, the “Neve Tzuf Norseman” upon completing their mandatory 3 years of service in the IDF. The Neve Tzuf Norseman team is usually characterized by a full complement of Blitzers drawn from the various combat units of the IDF. Some of the unique characteristics about the Neve Tzuf Norsemen include the fact that their Gatoraid doesn’t actually have any ‘Gators in it as alligators are not Kosher. Furthermore, they do not play Bloodbowl on the Jewish Sabbath (Friday night or Saturday Day), or during any of the Jewish Festivals. |
