while on a road trip the Old Forge RedBird football club accepted an invitation to drink at pub owned by a local necromancer. A horrible bar-room mixup killed the entire dwarf team and bonded their spirits to the bar itself. most of the team didnt mind having to remain eternaly bellyed up at the local pub. they struck a deal with the necromancer to be placed on an eternal tab as long their bodys were the property of the necromancer. after several failed experiements the necromancer decided to enter the dwarfs in a blood bowl tounery to recoup their bar tab. after being told that his team was not dead enough to be considered undead, so after that he drafted other rejected players who were not dead or good enough to play for undead teams. picking up rejected players and disguising them as dwarfs the necromancer was able enter in several tournaments before they were discovered to be partaly undead. after a long period of deliberation the rules commity descided that they were not undead enough to be considered an undead team. after being discovered they continued to pretend to be dwarfs to keep up a large fan base.
