This is my second Shining Force Darkie
team, the first was totally Nuffled into retirement in four hard, painful games. Be kinder this time, Nuffle! The name is a nod to Jock's great team naming policy - keep going, just use Street Fighter suffixes!

Bleh, Japanese RPG's, eh? Shining Force II was a Sega Mega-Drive game from '94. It was a tactical turn-based affair long before Final Fantasy took over the RPG World in the west. Your character Bowie (or in the English version - you named him yourself) was awoken by his mother to go to school, where he met up with his good buddies Sarah and Chester. However, their teacher was in a foul mood, evil was afoot. From there, you went off on an adventure to create a Force to slay a great evil. The game was a lot bigger and more free-roaming than almost anything I can remember of it's time, and at it's peak, your force could swell to about 30 strong. Ideal then, for fragile Elves!
