Very rough begining for the Cowboys: Only one of the original sauri (the later star of the team #8 alltime Lizardblocker Allosaurus) passes the 31 spps without ageing. With the sauri dieing all the time it took to game 40 to get the team in shape. With my standard lizard development: no apo for skinks, besides +st first two skills for sauri mb and block, very challenging games in the early days without a single tackle, break tackle and only the guard on kroxy.
The golden aera (games 40-70): The team was most of the time in good shape (good shape: every saurus has mb and block, this usually includes guard on kroxy and at least one tackler), under the lead of Allosaurus they had a streak of 15 undefeated games at legend tr, accenpting every challenge - never entered a tourney though.
The crises: With Allosauruses dead everything went bad, crazy sauri dieing again (always the ones with 2 or 3 skills, that just became valid for the team). Only two constants, the first kroxy and Neonventor, who became the next teamcaptain (the safty position in the defences triangle-set up). Neonventor beeing the only tackler and 2nd guard besides kroxy, became the most used and important player one of my teams ever had. The lack of break tackle hurts alot, but Neovenator alone is responsible for the victories with this totally unbalanced team.
Game 90: The cowboys could have a bright future: alot of stat rolls: three +st sauri!! a +ma+ma skink, and a +ag skink. Game 99: What a desaster 7 players and ts126 for the historic game. The best player (+st, mb, block sauri) and another sauri with 30spp just died again, a 2nd +st sauri niggled.
Game 100: Three ones in a row for winnings, team is still short a sauri (another niggled) and only 5 skinks. FF20 should be enough to rebuild though. Neovenator and Godzillosaurus still playing, besides that only two ok skinks. The situation is descriped best: The coaching staff decided the first time not to take mb for a sauri first skill to get a 2nd block!! With alot of defeats latley the team even misses the 50% winning ratio: Record 100 (48/23/29)
Just when the team started developing again they lost 4 players in game 111 (2 block/mb sauri and the 2 best skinks) bombing them back into the stoneage. Game 115 saw Godzillosaurus death in his 99th game. Godzillosaurus is the 70th past player of the team. The cas stats are (157/124/71) so only 45% bh, but 20% rip. Thats 15 rips above average and probably the reason the team struggles so much. Game 118 down to 10 players again, just realized that rips from dodges/gfis are not even in these stats. Very bad luck the last three games, but it changend in the end of game 145 so a 2nd streak of 3 consecutive losses could be avoided. The last of three +st saurus aged at 76spps and left the team. Right now the team doesnt have a single stat or double skill. The funniest thing up to now the team only had one dp (that lived only a couple of games), the 2nd double a skink ever rolled was block on a +st+ma skink. Up to now thats about 80-100 games vs bashers without a dp.
Game 151: vs CD, just wow!!! 1st half: kicking, opo made a misclick, secured the ball, turn 2 skulls, screwed everything, very nice played 0:1. 2nd half: 8 vs 11, didnt look good at all. Followed by the greatest dicerape (in the cowboys favor) I have seen so far, cds went out like crazy and failed almost every dodge/gfi. CDs used apo on a kill, next turn their super bull (+st+ag blodge) tripped, foul, niggle. 1:1 in t5. kicking, 9 vs 6. Of course the cd failed to pick up the ball. t8: ball in Cds half, and CDs foul the only skink in td-range, bh, apo. Well, i just assumed that he was in range, because he got fouled. One blitz to clear the path, pick up, move towards endzone, oooops, one square short! Turned around, gfi, pass to kroxy, cuaght, bonehead passed, gfi, td!!!!
Game 181: Team was in ok shape and only needed a couple of games to skill some players to play the Fumbbl Cup, but once again they got trashed game after game. The team still hasnt played a single tourney yet.
Game198: Worst crises ever, endless recovery games without much progress. Always very short on players, two 4-game-loosing streaks in the last 21 games.
Game 200: 251/220 20k cash, 6 perms (2 n), not a great team at all.
Game 204: <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2401324">Fumbbl Cup VII Round 3</a>: Well, this one looked very hard, a wiz, the niggled st4 skink and saurus playing while receiving first half, looked acutally not that bad after all in H1T6, but ... first action snakes in T7 screwed own score and three late kos on sauri that all didnt come back for 2nd half lost the game in those two turns. Match report shows pretty nicely what happens if u can only field 9 players (including only 2 sauri) and an evil chaos team decides to take the game to ot.
Game 210: Team won their 100th game (100/47/63) TD: +39 Cas: -89
Game 234: Team got hurt in a bloody eli final, the following recovery game saw 4 rips, a perm, and of course the only skill roll ageing. Team will take a looooooooooooooong break.
