After many failed attempts to coach the vampire team Slaye Ride (the vamps seemed more interested in stalking the gate, picking out "fresh blood"), Krusty thought that his chances of winning the Christmas Cup had come to a brisk end. Krusty reported to his mentor, Jack Thumb, that he would leave the tournament and face his fate with Santa Claus. Jack wouldn't hear of it, and instead began scouring the crowds around the stadium for anyone who resembled a bloodbowl player. He came upon a group of half-drunk dark elves who agreed to play in return for beer money. The team 'Krusty's Last Stand' was born. |
