He's decide to leave before he gets killed. <a href="FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=5194218">Fabien "Sure Hands" Barthez</a> was forced into retirement after his 6th game. He had a niggle and with Diego Maradona getting sure hands himself it seemed unnecessary to risk going into games a man light anymore (hell we only get 7. who's stupid idea was that anyway??? MUPPET!!!). He served the team well and acquired 15 SPPs in his short but committed career (Barthez's #1. shirt has been retired until an adequate replacement can be found). <hr> <blink><u><b>SEASON II TARGETS</b></u></blink> Due to last season's rather poor efforts, we've decided to set some achievable goals. The bar is so low surely we should make all of them. :D i) Kill an opposition player (by fair means or foul) <b>Almost achieved in first match but apo made a great save!</b> ii) Score a TD <b>Achieved in game 1</b> iii) Keep our fan factor above 1 <b>Bumbling along at 3 at the mo.
