Hello and wellcome to the Maniac Miners site. I'm Jordi, a professional Blood Bowl manager and Maniac Miners are one of my new teams. Several months ago I had a mysterious call. It was about some miners whose mine was closed due to the end of resources.... It should be hard to loose your employee, but it would be too hard for those litte dwarf who didn't know anything about life except going underground looking for rare materials. They went crazy because they have nothing to do and start to drunk and look for action whenever they found somebody in front. Problems keep on growing until someday one marihuana smoker found a quit place to enjoy himself. He was at the dinamite storage. Obviously it was a question of time that one half of the village blown away in a big explosion. The other half was in fire. When the workers saw the flames they awake from the drunken sleep -ok not all of them- and run to extinguish the fire. It was too late and after all their efforts the only thing that they could save from the flames was... a blood bowl ball. It gives them an idea... They decided to become a proffesional blood bowl team and they phone me in order to work at my orders. So you can say they are loosers, in fact they have nothing material, but when they go into the pitch, they play the most they know because it's the only thing they have. Difficult starting for them. First game they loose a Longbeard (dead) and another Longbeard was Seriously injured (miss second game). I decided not to retired them. Second game they played against halfings: massacre !!!. This give them the opportunity to recover their 11 players (bought a new Longbeard) and also gain three new skills. |
