Background
When a catacomb under the Gatcombe Church was discovered, a local Necromancer whose name we dare not utter, took it upon himself to raid the site and raise its "inhabbitants" from the dead. His plan to join the new Blood Bowl League WIBBL. Not according to plan, the dead from the cemetary beside the church have also awoken. Luckily with promises of fresh brains (from opposing fans) they united and formed the Catacomb Fanclub, called Get The Ref Ghouls.

Shanklin Skulls
The Skulls had been sneaking in Gatcombe Stadium to play practice games. Until one day they got caught by Catacombs headcoach who demanded them to leave. But the Skulls were not easily persuaded, and those mummy's are hard to argue with. Their coach challenged to play a match where the winner would earn the right to call this their home pitch. We are not gonna describe the horrors that followed in detail, it was more a battle then a game. And by the time the end whistle blew, everybody was fighting on the pitch. Be it player, spectators, coachingstaff and referee(actually he was being eaten). The ball was completely forgotten and it ended in a 0-0 draw. It was decided by the towncounsil that Catacomb trained here first and could keep using the pitch. It's a Gatcombe public secret the Skulls just scared the townfolk more than Catacombs undead. Besides, they were out feeding enough on away games. So it came to be that the Skulls had to take comfort with Shanklins second stadium. And the bitter feud has gone on since. Frequently Get The Ref Ghouls and The Pharaohs Guard, the Skulls' firm battle it out on a pitchinvasion.
