Roster [A] Dark Elf

The Brides of Burning Blood are one of a growing number of Witch Elf cults that have no permanent shrine in any of the Dark Ef cities. They prefer worship of Khaine solely on the Blood Bowl pitch, were the gore spattered pitch is their alter, and the blood of the opposition is their offering to the Bloody-Handed God. They have little interest in money or fame, because they believe that the blood spilt in Khaine's name is the most treasured thing in the world, where the blood is filled with both fear and anger. As Khaine is also the lord of suffering, the Brides make use of exotic poisons, coating the blades protruding from their armour, a poison which literally boils the blood in the victim. Any that are cut die in fits of agony, their own streaming lifeblood erupting from severed arteries.

After a match the Brides are brought before the Death Hag one at a time. Should more than a few patches of skin be found not covered in offerings to Khaine - namely blood spilt during the match - then it will be decreed that the sacrifices were unacceptable to the Lord of Murder. In a frenzy of repentant fury, the Brides will seek out a new team to play, and fall upon them with renewed vigor. It matters not if these victims are other Dark Elves, so eager are the Brides to spill blood in the name of their merciless god.
