The Blighters are a cheery, loveable bunch of chaps on tour from the Far Albion League, who subscribe to an almost fanatical, sociopathic belief in decency and fairplay. As such they will not go out of their way to injure another player unless provoked or it is strategically ABSOLUTELY necessary. What they regard provocation is simple, shilly-shallying and stalling at the end zone instead of playing the Blasted Game, they will have no compunction about ruthlessly hunting down an opposing teams' star player and kicking him till he stops moving. Another pet hate of the Blighters are teams who play to win rather than make sure everyone playing and viewing has a damned good time.

(In summary, don't stall against me if there are more than one turn left on the clock, its not fun for me and I fail to see how it can be fun for you. Also, why not play in the spirit of the game? The idea is for everyone to have fun. If you take it too seriously then I wouldn't play me if I were you. If you just enjoy having a laugh and playing the game for fun, I can't wait to have a match with you. Be excellent)

Since the Blighters moved from the Far Albion League to the Empire's shores their fan base has been steadily decreasing as less and less of their fans can be bothered to cross the Sea of Claws to watch the Blighters being defeated. Coach Tom O'Bedlam hopes that as the team adjust to the somewhat different rules they have on the mainland they'll win over new fans.
