[L] Shambling Undead

From the Crypts of Mordheim, gathered together by the infamous necromancer, Franz "No Liver" Petelburg, the Crumbling Crypt Crushers aren't used to playing Bloodbowl, and only seeing the game pre-comet-that-destroyed-everyone-for-a-fair-distance, the rules seemed to have changed from when they were living creatures. From the crypts of Mordheim, they travelled north and played a few games against Valhalla Metal Gods, to brush up on their skills. The Valhalla Metal Gods saw this as a risky but fortunate opportunity, as they were looking to break into professional competition. Unfortunately, the mummy of the team, Oozerot The Foul, being thick in the head, couldn't remember any of the new rules, and in their training, ended up killing a Norse linesmen, Iron Maiden. In another game, Franz Petelburg saw an opportunity to gain another player when Iron Maiden, a Norse catcher tripped in an attempted dodge and died. Both were ressurected as zombies. After the CCC's 4th game, Oozerot the Foul was angered that he was not getting enough time smacking things, so, he took his fury out on BoneAsh, a lowly skeleton linesman and killed him. With the help of Franz Petelburg, BoneAsh was fused with spare parts of another dead skeleton into BoneAsh the Revived, the newest mummy to the CCC's After the BloodBowl commission saw fit that the CCC's were too highly skilled to be playing academy (as they were beating up goblins in their spare time, much to the distress of the ghouls, who were taking the game seriously) the CCC's were transferred to league status. In their first game against a league team, Brennons Battlers, Franz Petelburg saw the option to play a fan favourite, BoneBlood the skeleton. He knew this was a risk as he saw another skeleton die in a game against the VMG's; sure enough, BoneBlood crumpled on the LoS. The undead section of the crowd went quiet. The mummies roared in this effect, and returned to the Battlers, 2 niggles. Once again, the ghouls saw fit to take the game into their own hands and the new ghoul, Cavity, scored an 8th turn equaliser. While playing in Ostland, and returning to their training camp in the graveyard, the CCC's came across a new zombie, Slugman Bardo, to take the place of BoneBlood. In the CCC's next game against the Battlers, a score was to be settled. The fans were still reeling from the loss of BoneBlood, but more deaths were to be had. As Horrorspawn the terrifying was running towards the line, the human thrower Blain saw him and ran at haste towards him, slicing his putrid body limb from limb. Horrorspawns best friend, Stenchrot the Cadaverous, was standing beside him at the time, and something sparked in his mind. He is impossible to calm down now. |
