KSSG (the KhazaDun Survivors Support Group) The Dwarf stronghold of KhazaDun once occupied an enviable position nestled in the World's Edge mountains. It would never had the magnificence of ancient mountain fortresses but to the some two thousand inhabitants it was home. Generations of dwarves toiled in nearby mines, brewed a potent beer from clear mountain springs and traveled down the valley to sell intricate creations in the market towns of men. After what is listed in the records of KhazaDun as 'the catastrophe' the few remaining Dwarves struggled to piece together their former lives from what remained. Some survivors tried to rebuild their shattered lives, some were absorbed by nearby Dwarven communities, some disappeared all together. For the most part, while they never forgot their past lives, they tried to move on as best they could. However there were some who could not leave behind their shame and rage at this fall from glory. They blamed the enemies who brought about this disaster and their supposed allies for abandoning them in their time of need. They were possessed of a cold and singular fury, they would not let the world forget the extent of the slight done to their people. They choose to take their Grudge into the most public of arenas, Blood Bowl. Every game was a chance to right past wrongs and with every victory more of their former kin would flock to join their cause! |
