Team Bio

If rumours are to be believed, the origins of Blood Bowl lay in Lustria, home of the ancient and powerful Slann, and their Lizardmen servants, at the very dawn of time. Though the game has moved on and evolved in the Old World, the Lustrian League is working with SAWBBL to bring the old and new closer together.

The Tzunki Claws have made the leap across the world-pond to match their skills against some of the biggest names in the sport, after their natural talent and unconventional playing style proved to be such a massive hit with fans in the depths of Lustria.

The move to FUMBBL was not by choice though. An ill-conceived pact with Iqu'Aqu-Ikatl The Reincarnate Reminisce, a local Slann Mage-Priest in training, left the whole team rendered in purely pixelated form. This means their quest for glory and gold on the gridiron has now become slightly more 2D and lo-res than they are used to.

Did you know...

In their seventh season, sixteen fans were forced to declare themselves bankrupt due to the cost of having the name of new signing, Su'Enhu-Kurktotl The Summoned Fury, printed on their replica jerseys. Su'Enhu-Kurktotl sadly died after the first game of the season when a trainee assistant coach replaced the contents of his rehabilitation spawning pool with salt water.
