SWL Season 100!

This is the Team with the #1 active mummy scorer! The advantage of an undead team is that you can scout the teams of the living for likely talents. It took a while but we were able to get some really good players. And if you want to play a game against them they might be a real bother. We don´t have to bother. As long as there is no global catastrophy that wipes out all life we have an unlimited amount of replacements. Althoug sometimes we have to help them along in their development. But that is our problem, don´t you bother about it. Really. First game showed that they still can do it. QB Damned Marino (now a skeleton) threw a pass to RB Kevin Fault (now a mummy) and he managed to run all the way into the endzone... Kevin Fault is still the favorite receiver of Damned Marino. He caught the only complete pass in the second game. But we will have to work a bit at the communication in the team. The offensive line continued pressing forward all the game even when the ball was lost in the backfield... Maybe I should think up a second offense play. They are a fine team. When damned marino caught a pass in turn 8 second half and was 7 squares away from Kevin (in the end zone) he failed the last gfi, dropped the ball and Kevin reached out to catch it. TD! Unfortunately it was the first game without a pass for Marino. But Fault made 2 TDs. 3 TDs for the Mummy so far. GO GO GO! Won a game against DE. Fault scored in turn 8-2. Lousy 1-0 and no pass from Marino. Was a defense TD... Lost a game against a bunch of zons. But Fault scored again. The pass was not complete, but that never disturbed him. As long as it comes close enough, he catches it... TD number 6 for Fault. Was a 1-1 against CD. Might even have won, Fault waited in the endzone, but Ikechuku Ndukwe failed the last dodge necessary to throw the pass to him. And that in the final turn... Played a game against lizzies. Coach was poor guy who couldn´t play fair and didn´t understand the game. And he stalled for 5 turns in second half when already leading 1-0. I tried to kill off his team, but his apo saved him. I even fouled in turn 16. But at least my zombie gained +str. And my new QB was killed in turn 1 first game, but I managed to repair him after the game. Damn, I´m really pissed of. Two squares away from the end zone. just need a blitz to score. 2 assists, so I got 3 dice for the block. First roll: skull, pow/skull, pow/skull and Fault having no block. Not a problem, reroll. Same outcome. Armor roll fails, bh. And so a wight had to make the td. A WIGHT! Who has ever heard of an AG 4 wight scoring? At least I won 2-0. First TD was by Fault. Naturally. And Fault got his 3rd skill. Now I gave him block, but he must have ripped some of his bandages, he´s got a niggle now.... Damn game against some orcs. Fault made an interception, but failed to score.... I hate these games. Lost against DE. Did not manage to get the ball to Fault. But was not his fault... Won against Zons, but Fault did not play. His wrappings came off and he had to be tied up again. That took longer than winning against the zons... Played a game against skaven. They were a bit better than the undead, so we had to even the odds a bit. We managed to blame the rat ogre for a goblin raping and he missed the game while being questioned by the gobbo´s teammates. And Fault was so nervous he could not sit still and did not manage to hold a ball. He was really buzzing. So the wights had to handle the ball and each of them scored once. A nice draw against the Skaven. But obviously no TD (but 2 cas) for Fault. Played against orcs. Won 2-0 with 1 TD by Fault. Could have scored a second, but in turn 16 he already went home when the thrower fumbled the ball. Did not realize he used a reroll and was totally unprepared for the incoming ball. Damn those rotted brains... Lost 2-0 against chaos. Nothing much to tell about the game. Damn those strong teams. And his 2 claw Warriors didn´t help any... Won a game when my opponent had to concede in turn 2 due to real life. If you can call that winning. Hope iI will get the opportunity to play against his dwarves for real some day ONLY ONE MORE TD TO GO FOR HALL OF FAME. Lost a game against DE. And they lost a lot of players during the game. Fault made a td. And 2 DE killed, 1 SI, 3 BH. Didn´t even know they could be so brutal... Hard fought game against some woodsies from Sherwood. Lost 3-1 but Fault made his 10th TD. He is in the top 10 now. Only active mummy with 10 TD or more and second best mummy ever. To be number one I need 10 more.. SIGH So. Played some Undead Team and won 2-0 with both TD by Fault. Must have misheard when the other coach told me "He won´t score against me" right at the start... After exchanging his fellow mummie Fault is now at 14 TD. Played 1-1 against orcs. My new mummie made 3 cas (not bad for a total of 9 blocks) and niggled with the first skill. Someone should take aging out of the game. It sucks as it is hard enough to keep teams alive (or something like that) even without these damn aging rolls... Made a game against some rather beaten up ogres. 2 of them didn´t even show up do to their aching heads, one got an injury rather early in the game and the remaining 3 ogres were no match for the undead. Mainly because the dice were against them. Fault was without fault and scored twice. Now only 2 TDs short of a tied best scorer ever... Unfortunately Fault will never catch up with the Khemri Mummy. But now he may rest and heal his massive headache...
