The "Big Belly Bangers" have their name in memory of the late Troin "Beerbelly", the teams founder who fell into a beer-barrel and drowned in it (what a dwarf-like death!). Troins typical action was to get his tankard, drink the pint of Bugmans Masterbrew and then bang other dwarves with his big beer belly for the sheer fun of it. Hell, it was a party in the breweries, that erupted. Belly banging and belching at its' best! The "Big Belly Bangers" want to keep his spirit alive and bang opponents along their way to fatalities and the one or the other touchdown. "We are on a good path", says Coach Thror "Kaboom". "Yes, we may have short legs compared to others, but we have strong bellys, we have thunderous fists and, most important of all, we are fearless idiots - so let the carnage begin!" |
