&owner=106951 Season I Bretonnia Conference 6th 2/0/2 Lost 0-3 The Rush were on the wrong end of a thrashing on the opening day of the season. Luckily no real damage was done - except to their pride! Won 3-2 A very close game against the Expats looked to be going to a 2-2 draw, but an audacious passing play in the final moment won it for the Rush. Lost 1-2 A combination of the failure of the Rush runners to pick the ball up, and the unexpected passing ability of the opposing goblin, led to a loss. Won 2-0 This rematch against the Expats was a meaningless game for both teams, but was a good training session for the Rush nonetheless. Inter-Conference Shield The Rush didn't play their Inter-Conference Shield match, but won it by forfeit, leading to the Bretonnia Conference winning 3-2. Wildcard Tournament Record: 3/1/0 Season II Albion Conference 2nd 3/1/0 Won 2-1 The Rush beat the Icedragons 2-1 in a very rainy match, helped no end by the rain making the ball too slippery for the Norsemen. Won 2-0 BCR managed to take advantage of an unreliable minotaur to win their second game of the season, at the cost of their star blitzer. Drew 2-2 The Rush almost threw this top of the table clash away after a reckless foul, but pulled it back to 2-2 in the dying moments. Won 2-1 In the final game of the Conference, BCR needed at least a draw against their old rivals the Expats to make it into the cup. They went one better. Challenge Cup Lost 1-2 (After O.T.) The Rush lost their first ever Challenge Cup appearance in a very tight game that could have gone either way. Indeed, they squandered two chances to make the score 2-0 and put the game to bed, only to see their clumsiness come back to bite them as the FORC'ers equalised and then won the game in overtime. Season III Bretonnia Conference 8th 2/0/3 Lost 0-1 BCR started against the Icedragons again, but despite having a chance to draw the game, a dropped catch in the endzone led to a 1-0 loss. Lost 1-2 The pace of this game was too much for the Rush in the sweltering heat, and they found themselves outnumbered and outballed. Won 3-0 BCR managed to turn around their terrible start to the season with a high scoring game which they spent running away from dwarves! Won 2-1 The Rush faced their second elven opponents of the season, and just managed to sneak a win in a very tight, end-to-end game. Lost 0-2 BCR went in to their final game of the season needing to win big to sneak in to the Cup, but nothing really went their way and they ended up losing. Inter-Conference Shield Won 1-0 In a very tight end-to-end game, the Rush just managed to edge it to help the Bretonnia Conference, and in doing so won the Royal Pardon. Season IV Albion Conference 5th 2/1/2 Drew 2-2 Two lightning fast skaven touchdowns were matched by two grinding drives from the Minions, keeping the Rush back to a draw in their first game. Lost 1-2 BCR faced the Pillagers in the second round, and while the 1st half ended 1-1, the rats' drive fell apart in the 2nd and the orcs stole the ball to win. Lost 0-1 A frustrating game played in the rain, the Rush had a couple of chances to score but their ball-handling let them down. The Rangers took full advantage! Won 3-0 Rock bottom of the league, BCR needed to step up to avoid relegation, and they did just that with a comprehensive 3-0 win against relegation rivals. Won 4-2 The Rush lived up to their name with two blitzes in the first half, securing their safety from relegation with a solid (but lucky) win. Inter-Conference Shield Won by Forfeit Once again, the Rush's opponent in the Shield disappeared (a committee has been formed to investigate this), but the conference won without them. Season V Albion Conference 3rd 2/3/0 Won 2-0 The Rush started the season well, stealing the ball out from under their old rivals twice and running it in for the score. Won 2-1 BCR continued their winning streak with a classic 2-1 victory over a strong undead side (and had a suitable amount of luck, too!) Drew 1-1 In a brutal game, the Rush lost one of their key runners, but managed to sneak a draw to keep them top of the conference (just). Drew 0-0 It's rare that BCR don't score, but the Pillars kept them out in a tight game that could have gone either way, with both teams coming close to scoring. Drew 2-2 The Rush's final league game was a brutal one they couldn't afford to lose, and they managed to scrape a tie after an unlikely final second equaliser. Challenge Cup Won 1-0 The Rush scraped a 1-0 win against a deadly team of Pirates that were off their stride, failing to cause any serious damage against the rats, who advance to the highest point of their career so far... Lost 2-3 (After O.T.) In a tight replay against their conference winners, BCR managed to head to OT at 2-2, before the casualties started racking up leading to an inevitable 3-2 loss. Season VI Albion Conference 0/1/0 Drew 1-1 Another brutal game for the Rush, where they counted themselves lucky to escape with a point (although they came close to a last minute winner).
