For some time now Hamburger Sport-Verein (HSV) has been the only club to have played in the Bundesliga without interruption since the league's foundation. That's why they call us the dinosaur. The haters, and that is basically all football fans in Germany except the HSV fans, say it's past time that we finally lost that status. We have come pretty close. We probably would have deserved it. But still we have managed to dodge extinction, and here we are. So haters, hate on.

Edit: Nuffle er luck finally caught up with us in 2018. Fate of the team: undecided.
