The USWFL was looking for a team outside the 48 states. Culebra Puerto Rico came to the call. The Tsunami have forced the league to hire some spanish speaking referees due to the fact no one on the team speaks english.

The Tsunami had only to win in week#10 in Texas and they were the champions. They loss and then watched Humansville win in Missouri to capture the USWFL title. Culebra loss its 1st and last game of the season, they won or tied ever other game. They will play in the Western Conference next year due to being outside the US 48.
Season#4 Western Conference 5-3-1 16pts 7th pace out of 18 overall 6-3-1 19 pts The Tsunami struggled for the 1st time ever and the early season death of star Miguel Diestro. Their is hope they can rebound to season#2 form.But to win a championship they need to get over the 6 win hump.
Season#5 Overall 3-5-2 11 pts Played in Yankee/Southern Divisions and Premier Division of WC They started off by winning the Southern Division and then slide to the middle of the Yankee Division.Somehow they were picked for the big show and were destroyed. The Tsunami will play all home games in Miami and are bringing a full team back as they hope to rebound.
