Being good puritans, there is nothing Witch Hunters hate more than opera. Indeed, so great is their anti-operatic zeal, that there are specialised Witch Hunter warbands (a.k.a. Blood Bowl teams) dedicated to the hunting down of each operatic voice. One such team is the Mezzo-Soprano Hunters.

Mezzos are known even to themselves (due to type-casting in operas) as "witches, bitches, boys in britches". So that is exactly what this Witch Hunter team hunts! Their favourite prey are heretical young lasses in trousers (a.k.a. "cross-dressers" in Witch Hunter parlance), especially if they are caught singing, humming or whistling. Luckily for the team, there are many such about.

The job of the team's Flagellants (led by Mr. Whippy) is to lure the young heretics with ice cream. An old trick, but it rarely fails.
