The team is formed from the Bearsonlings. Egil the captain once played on a southern team called the Marienburg Marauders. He was badly injured and retired home. When he returned to his frozen homeplace he trained the young boys on the farmstead the rules. They picked them up quickly and Egil decided to try them out as a team.
