In Rasetra, the mystic goldsmith of the queen Khalida have collected the most rare and precious gems, and valuable specimens of every gemstones. From time to time, the gemologists of the queen stumble upon gems with the rare capability to hold a whole soul within them. When enchanted those peculiar gems act as a container for the soul contained within. The soul can interact again to the physical world if nestled in an arcane jewel, animating a bony construct: the Rasetra priests use those costructs to raise and develop BloodBowl teams to play in various leagues around the world. When a construct is severy damaged beyond restoration, the soul is released from the gem and another one takes his place in a new arcane jewel, on a new skeletal body.
