| Stella Maris A team of ex-sailors dedicated to the Holy Mother of the sea. Won 2-0 in their opening game kicking vs rookie chaos dwarves. The line men of the team mounted a courageous man-to-man defense on the opposing bull centaurs and minotaur, keeping them off their feet. The chaos dwarves alone lacked the movement to provide cover for the hobgoblins from Stella Maris's mobile blitzers. The upshot was one dead chaos dwarf and hobgoblin, and three badly hurt hobgoblins. Pouring rain in the second half compounded the problems of the chaos dwarves as without hobgoblins the chaos dwarf team lacked mobile players able to pick up the ball in the melee or to catch bouncing balls. |
