The team Gourmet Fare was born when some wealthy epicurean friends realised they no longer needed to hide their "little secret" (drinking pints of fresh blood every day), provided only that they did it on the Blood Bowl pitch! Their "innovation" (if such it may be called) is to feed each of their hapless staff (Thralls) a specially tailored diet based on red meat and fine wine. In this way, they found they could satisfy all of their expensive dietary habits at one go!

Hitherto considered merely rich but eccentric (what with those interminable banquets and vast retinues of servants), they came out of the crypt and onto the pitch to untold fame and fortune. An instant and enduring hit with the fans, they hit the jackpot with sponsorship from CabalVision (keen to find something suitably creepy to fill that midnight viewing slot).

Such is their following, that they moonlight as celebrity CabalVision chefs in the off-season. Of course few of the viewers watch for the cooking - they are waiting for that special moment at the end of the show when the celebrity chef can no longer restrain himself and snacks on one of the kitchen hands. Which one will it be tonight?
