Once, there was an ogre. That ogre had a dream, to unite the ogre races in peace and love.

This team ate him.

However, a bit of that deep thinking seems to have been absorbed. This team has a penchant for philosopherising, to use one of their many terms for it. In practice, this means they spend about as much time incapacitated as any other ogres - however, in this case, they're pondering the meaning of life, the universe and everything, instead of the usual thought process of 'OOOH SHINY!'

This style of thought lends itself well to the Blood Bowl arena. "Life is suffering" has special meaning when you're force-feeding a lineman his own spleen, and impromptu tests of 'the tortoise and the arrow' have spawned a not-quite-fearsome weapon, the Ballistic Goblin. When one of these ogres zones out, he's not thinking of shiny objects. He's thinking of how the microcosm of the body is affected by the intrusion of entropy in the form of a punch in the face.
