Gribly's Giblets
Retired [A] Goblin

We're the team who makes it a point to pick on, er..HELP new teams get used to playing bloodbowl. Gribly himself (team captain) particulary enjoys taking the field against brand spanking new teams.

First Match: A good day to be a goblin...a very, VERY bad day to be a wood elf. Gribly's sent off early by the ref, arguing the whole way, however shouts with glee from the sidelines as the Giblets smoosh the elf team. Surprising brutal, not-surprisingly enjoyable. :)

Second Match: A well fought match versus some thickheaded dwarves..even with a ref in fear of his life, no matter how many times we stomped their heads...we only manages a few bruises. The Giblets manages to sneak a couple of touchdowns by sprinting through the dwarf lines. Both the team trolls took a nap in the middle of the game, deciding to simply lay in the grass and gaze at the clouds. Typical.


Third match: Off to a good start however due to other goings on the match ended earlier than expected with a concession. Gribly says "We'z neva gonna quit a match...per say...we'z just got other places to be sumtimes." By remarkable coincidence...a merchant's caravan was hijacked only minutes after the Giblets left the field by what was described as what looked to be a goblin bloodbowl team. Gribly had no comment on the robbery.

Fourth match: Dead as Disco necromantically took the field against the Giblets, and staggered away one werewolf shorter for their efforts. Gibly is pleased.

Fifth match: Gribly's band of misfits took the field against a team of big mean Ogres, but it didn't phase the two trolls on the team. "DEY'z BIG, Dat's Fer SURE, BUt Dat Juss MEENS MOre MEET!!" rumbled Mungalucka, and Thungamudz passed gas in agreement. Gribly himself hogged the ball a while and scored a touchdown himself to boost his stats, and the Giblet's defence held Malg's Mutilators to a zero score.

Sixth match: Dark elves brought the competition, and agilely waltzed away with a 2-1 win. The trolls were lumbering lummoxes as usual, only causing one weak casualty which was swiftly remedied by apothecary attention. Da gobbos let fly with a few boots, especially when the ref was in fear of his life from both teams, but only managed a KO or two.

Match Seven: A tremendous match for the Giblets squad, managing to keep their composure vs a team of shambling undead, and sending 3 players back to the afterlife! Led by the two troll wrecking balls, the up and coming necromancer watched with horror as his poorly resurrected team was reduced to a shadow of it's former self. Gribly himself was responsible for shattering a skeleton and was well pleased.

Match Eight: a 2-0 win over an up and coming Human team and skipping away one goblin lighter for the trouble. Plenty more where Narf came from!
