The people of Salzmund are salt-of-the-earth people, a rowdy and passionate bunch, possesed with a fierce character, owning back to their norscan heritage. Their ancestors might have sailed the salty sea, but today the people of Salzmund work in the Salt Mines to earn a living. They labour for their families, they live for Bloodbowl. Borussia is a working man's club and its supporters want to see their players work as hard on the pitch as they do in their job, day in day out. If they see their players embody the combination of norscan love for fights and the "Never give up" attitude of the Empire that is in every Salzmunders blood, they'd follow their team into hell. And if they don't and the players disappoint, they'll give them hell themselves. The club has been the very model of inconsistency. Shadow and light are close together where Salzmund players walk. Unexpected misery and unexpected glory are next door neighbors in Sigmar Laguna Park. None of it is perhaps more emblematic of it than Borussias recent fate in the third season, where they won against two of the three favorites for promotion but lost every other game. Still, so far in history even if they have failed, they have failed upwards, steadily moving upwards in divisions despite rough setbacks and a string of losses.
