| Slizzards were a team built from the Tetuanhoc peninsula in deepest Lustria. Their patron, none other than Cl'aist Stargazer, second generation Slann and avid Blood Bowl fan. Well as avid as a giant toad, which spends the majority of its life either sleeping or in a permanent trance, can be about a sport. The problem with this bunch of lizardmen was that they tended to play better in the middle of the day. Being a cold blooded lot, they needed a bit of sunshine before they really got going. Now of course, unscrupulous Blood Bowl types took great advantage of this, and set up as many matches against the Slizzards in the depths of night or during a hard frost. What was worse, despite their acquatic nature, Slizzards hated the rain. Absolutely hated it. In fact, during a regular downpour it was not uncommon for Cl'ork Bastivak to refuse to go onto the pitch unless someone stopped the sky from leaking. It became a bit of a problem for them scaly critters.
