| In a camp near Karaz-a-Karak, elder dwarves were enjoying a fine brew when they read in the NewsRune that a Bloodbowl Association, known has the DMU, were wrecking the hops out of the courageous dwarfs teams playing the fine sport. Flabbergasted by that outrageous blasphemy, most of them choked to death in their beards. The survivors collected insurance money from the deceased to create a bloodbowl team in the Memory of those who died in the DMU NewsRune incident and those murdered by the DMU. Notable families included in DMU: The Hardhammers, fierce has they are, have a grudge against the DMU for killing their father(choking on his beard). They swore that they will all lose their lives or get horribly crippled on the pitch until the DMU retires. Out of the nine brothers, three died on the pitch, three currently plays for the team and three are awaiting getting signed. The Thickshields are another notable family, two of them are currently playing, Drakox being the father of Kred. Krakox, the brother of Drakox and Uncle of Kred, died in the Newsrune incident. The Goldblades are there for the Bloodbowl. They too depise the DMU, but they don't have any grudge against it yet. On the team they are known has the "Jaxes", because we call them "Jax" or "Jax Two". There is also a famous trend to hire celebrities: Alice Coper, a famous dwarven mandolin player and singer, he is known to provoke controversy with his songs and he has been called a chaos cultist multiple times, but he doesn't take his music seriously: "it's just for fun". Bared Pit, a famous pop icon and sex symbol, he played in some famous plays like Brawl Club, Mr and Mrs Stormhammer and Thirteen Goblins. He died in a very dramatic manner, blocked by a mighty blow of a monstrous Saurus lizardmen. Sergio Tankianson, a psychedelic singer that has not a lot of fans but they are deadly loyal. He got niggled and went back to singing. Ulrick Van Helan, the best mandolin player ever to live, also signed and died for the team. Tonis Khitis, an artist known for his abuse of mushrooms, he sings in the group Yellow Good Beer Hops. Sometimes, it's just not your match, he suffered a niggle, that the apothecary rushed to heal, only to die 1 or 2 turns later. |
