<b>Coach Bio</b> I am a new coach, started playing bloodbowl on Nov 28th, 2008. After messing around with several races in academy and ranked I settled on Lizardmen. They seem to have the right blend of strength and speed for me. <b> Team Bio</b> The Serpents of Slann are slowly and steadily improving. Looking back most of the tie games, and even a few of the loses, could have easily been victories. With a green-horn coach (me) these lizardmen will be hard pressed to achieve a winning record. Also with low cash flow it is a struggle to keep bodies on the field. The lizardmen are getting beat up very badly losing 32 players to deaths and permanent injuries thus far. (most of which are failed apothecary rolls) Persistence will carry us through and perhaps our luck will change... Show the Skinks no mercy! See you on the pitch! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ <b>Fouling</b> Tactical fouling is acceptable... Meaning fouling is used to gain the upper hand and the game is still in the balance. Lamer fouling is not acceptable... Meaning when your are clearly going to win the game the only reason to foul at this point is to be an ass. For example, you are ahead by 2 TDs, its the 2nd half, and you have twice as many players on the pitch. Please stop and think about your actions and how others will remember you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ <b>Dec 25th, 2008</b> Finally made the choice to bench the niggled Skinks and shift focus to rebuilding the team. With the niggled Skinks now assisting the team from the sidelines the Saurus are forced to improve quickly. After I have a seasoned rank of Saurus and enough cash we will refill the ranks with Skinks! <b>Dec 29th, 2008</b> Cash flow has slowed to a crawl, 3 of the last 5 games have brought in '0' cash. Currently down by one Saurus and working with three Skinks the Serpents of Slann continue to battle on... <b>Dec 31st, 2008</b> Just when we thought to have 11 players again the Saurus stud Quet-tza of Chaqua just aged and niggled... The following game Saurus Tenqti of Tlanxla was killed and the apothecary failed. <b>Jan 1st, 2009</b> After 24 games playing with less than 11 lizardmen the Serpents of Slann managed to rake in enough cash to fill the roster! This of course came with a heavy price... including 16 losses and large drop in fan support. Don't give up on us yet! I might start a new lizardmen team soon, I am retiring this team... my apologies to everyone and myself :( |
