| Bilge Boozers were originally to be called the Bilge Bloodwiesers for sum of 10,000,000 gp, but after agreeing to sell the naming rights to Blarney's Beer, for 12,000,000 gp. a contract was put out on the owner. as part of the arbritration board for the possession of the team none of the board members could agree on the name. split down the middle by bribes and deaht threats, the board was force to an overnight decision naturally at a pub. In the morning the press dubbed the board the Bilge Boozers and the name has stuck with the team since. Since the change of ownership many steps have been put into place to please the sponsers both blarney's and bloodwieser beer is sold at the stadium, albeit on opposite sides of the field. and huge billboards have been put in place. The cost of these improvements and as well as several lawsuits angainst the team has slashed the budget for players. Most of the players went to titilea or back home to the empire to play in the bigger leagues. The previous owner set up shop in the deadlands of mosullin in bretton. With coach William Ecker we will see some very aggressive pass plays and lightning quick strikes into the backfield, William Ecker coaches a very fast pace game and dislikes the run. focusing on speed and performance (Ecker) hopes to spread the defense and gain a huge lead in points on the board. |
