This is what happens, when even the very nicest of ponds goes off like the proverbial frog in a sock .....
The KROAKLAND RAIDERS are now here, in The Pond baby!

This is the Version 2 starting line up of 4 Catchers, 1 Blitzer, 6 Linefrogs, + 4 rerolls.

Game 1 (v Necromantic starting team) - first ever game with Slann.
Loss: 1 - 3, Casualties 0/1/0 v 0/2/2 (including 1 killed by crowd).
Went 0-2 down in first half and reduced to 8 players, but scored quick TD in 2nd/2 and was 5 squares from tying game when player with ball was taken down and 3rd opposition TD scored at end of game. Lost 3 Catchers - 2 killed, and 1 retired after serious injury resulted in -1 Ag. Also retired Blitzer as it became obvious that it is an overpriced liability. Having all 4 Casualties as Serious Injuries or Deaths kind of indicates that Nuffle wasn't being all that friendly. Opponent did not foul, but Werewolves had a field day.

Game 2 (v Norse). Loss 0 - 3, Casualties 0/0/0 v 0/2/2. Starting TR 880.
Never really in this one. Opponent did not foul, but was happy to go 1 die blocks as his Block skill was highly decisive. Played good defence in 1st/ 2 which caused opponent to really struggle to score, but started 2nd/ 2 with 7 players which rapidly became 6, and 2 Blitz results on Kick-offs did not help. Again, extreme spectrum of casualty results are indicative of dice not exactly falling Raiders' way, but am still having fun. One killed was a Journeyfrog, but bought second Catcher after game.
