In 1414 IC, the former province of Drakwald was divided between Nordland and Middenland having been overrun by men tainted by chaos and turned into beasts. Nordland has since had to deal with the threat of chaos from the east and the constant raiders from the sea in the west. With rumors of chaotic worship and religious differences separating the political elite, the province has never managed to put forward a team to represent the largest university out of Salzenmund. It comes as a surprise that the relatively small and independent Nordrak College has found some powerful backers to supply the funding to join the CBBA. The University itself is shrouded in mystery, with the greater Empire knowing very little about its workings. It is rumored that they teach chaotic rituals at the school itself. What is known is that they allow elven immigrants to study and play on their team, while their other players are known for their versatility and potential. Team Goals: Finish anywhere but last place in their conference. Rivals: Wolfpack, Bulls, Harlequins. Colours: Deep Purple with Yellow Trim. Team Design Philosophy: The team is meant to be Chaos Pact in disguise. If word got out that the players were in fact worshiping chaos they would be banned from the league, therefore no Mutations. Pre-Season Welcome to my pre-season round up Firstly I would like express my thanks to the dark gods for helping me to get the post isn't it amazing when other applicants just fall off the face of the world. Has I have stated im keeping a lot of things close to the chest and things will come out when the games kick off But the deals, pacts and sacrifices that have been made should be worth the blood sweet and souls The starting line up has come at a costs but there are others in the wings ready to don on the helm of the manticore GO MANTICORES MANTICORES RULE Post Season Round Up Well it was a rough season With the away leg sitting at 3 losses things were looking grim for not just me but the players as well but after long team meetings and admin meetings we took on the home legs with a renew sense of pride. The team was starting to gel and putting that 1st win under the belt was a great start, after finishing 1-1-1 after the home legs is something to build towards. There maybe a few name changes coming along soon with the new season fast approaching and some new faces around the collage anything could come about. But as always I keep things under my hat. Watch out next season the MANITCOREs are coming!!! Pre-Season 5 Well it was a tough training run for the team. We are looking no different from our last match up, still the same young keen side looking to make a difference. Our away leg matches are looking fairly tough with a full travel playing none in front of the home fans. (Who don't like to travel to much) The only real change to the team is in introduction of a 2nd captain roll, in doing this I hope to inspire the team to greater things MANITCORES RULE!!!!! |
