Once upon a time...

...in the draughty ramshackle castle of Hackenhall, two Ogres sat hungrily awaiting their supper

"SNOT!", called Dreek Gnobchomper impatiently, "Where's me dinner!"
"We et Snot fer lunch", said Biran Snotlunchen
"Did we? wat about dat other one? 'is brother, Snot?"
"Breakfast"
"Brugger!", Dreek pondered the situation, "Is dere any food in da dungeon?"
"Just dat Weaver Witch, but she just skin n bones"
"Bones fer supper den"

The two ogres descended to the dungeon and found the Weaver Witch in her cell surrounded by a collection of rag dolls. She looked like a woman who had been sustained on a diet of moths and silk worms. There was indeed little in the way of meat on her bones.

"Was dat?", demanded Dreek pointing at two ragdolls throwing a ball of wool to each other.
"They are my children", said the Weaver Witch
"Are dey good eatin?"
"No, for they are made of cloth and string, and the love of a kind old woman"
Dreek looked at the woman confused, drool dripping from his mouth as he considered which part of her to consume first.
"But they can get you food!", said the witch hurriedly
" 'ows dat den?"
"You can lead them onto the local Blood Bowl field. And win prizes, glory and the tasty carcasses of the opposition players you destroy. And, they'll even cook for you"
"You's tink we stupid den? I spose you need to be dere all alivesy like. Controllin dem from de sideline", said Dreek suspiciously
"Oh no, not at all. Once I have breathed life in to my darlings, the are fully sentient beings. No need for me to be around to tell them what to do"

So that night back in the great Hall, the six Ogres of the new team Hacky Sack had their first meeting with their ragdoll teammates. Over a tasty meal of Weaver Witch gruel.
