TROLLS NEWS

#TROLLS TRADING GONE WILD!
It seems the Trolls trading office have gone a bit out of control, selling Draft8 1st round pick AND Peter Quinn for a meager Draft 7 2nd round pick. Trolls management explains this is to keep Tyrus Thompson from bodging any more important one turn touchdown plays, bringing in a new talented grabber, Hroniss Grasu, to do the important first block..

#ZACH ERTZ DEAD
Zach Ertz was killed by apothecary miss-treatment during a routine operation in the fourth season six game against the Hillkrest Huskies. The apothecary was treated accordingly. We welcome our new medical staff to the Trolls family!

#SPECTACULAR SHOWMANSHIP!
Cooper Taylor makes the ultimate sacrifice, chasing down the ball carrier without hesitation and fright of life or retribution, shadowing to get the ball loose and into the hands of Peter Wessel, then distracting the opponents, getting killed, to allow a spectacular Ogre touchdown! The Crowd goes wild with appreciation as this first touchdown sets of a landslide, the Trolls winning 5-1 against the Borgholm Braves!

#CHAMPIONS!
Oslo Trolls win the Season 4 Championship Final, the players getting their well earned championship rings. The Trolls entered the Playoffs as underdogs, but proved their worth as a tournament team. Sean Renfree, may he R.I.P., was key to victory, as was Kendall Wright and Louis Shureglove-Gael-Hunt McSquire.

#SEAN RENFREE DEAD!
A Bounty is set on the perpetrator, fouling and killing Sean in the last seconds of the S4 Final, with the Trolls manager offering up their 4th pick* in Draft 6 as reward.

* Currently the Trolls only have 3 picks in the D6 draft, but it is the 4th round pick that is offered.

#MENTIONED IN THE RATMAN GAZETTE!
The AnBBL bookie is taking bets on our placement, exiting news!

My experienced assistant coaches are with me here, as the Trolls have moved to Oslo, and we'll use our best tricks from our other teams to give the fans a show to look forward to. "

- "That's nice, so about that, the other teams. All your fans throughout the many leagues of Blood Bowl, will the fans still see you coaching those, and other teams?"

TROPHY ROOM

TEAM & PLAYER RECORDS

Won DLA Season 4 playoffs, after ending up in fourth place in Season 4 standings thus marginally qualifying for the quarter finals due to change in ownership.

PLAYERS

The personalities on this team are, well, interesting..

Draftees for season 7:
Pick 18 (traded): Hroniss Grasu as defensive lineman at #9.
Pick 55 (traded):

Players retiring after season 6:
Jed Tompkin retires after a full season earning 14 SPPs with us as a Troll. It has been a blast! Enjoy your freedom, don't join the dungeon bowl (free advice)!
Peter Quinn is traded to Great White Northerners.
Jesus Barnabas leaves the team to go on a round trip talking about his experiences on the Trolls' line of scrimmage.
Wulfgrim von Guhr returns to Guhr for participation in the annual hunt.

Players retiring during season 6:
Hor-em-akhet von Guhr retires, after breaking his ribs against Phenoms, to leave room for Wulfgrim von Guhr, a Rookie Of The Year program recruit, in the upcoming S6 draftoff tournament.
Darius Kilgo retires, due to stupid league regulations causing minor and insignificant injuries to ban him from participating in the fun for a whole match, to join a pub brawl where he can keep up the bashing unregulated.
Christophe "Sticker" Lemaitre retires, even though the plan was to keep him on as a weak side cornerback, due to injuries.
David Darora von Guhr is traded to Bardu Falcons, for a Draft 8 2nd round pick, where David will do wonders for the team with his experience this and next season.

Draftees for season 6:
Pick 15 (traded): Jim Bean as strong safety and halfback at #2.
Pick 26 (own): Nate Orchard as "the man on the bridge" at #11.
Pick 38 (traded): John Riggins Jr as Free safety and backup QB at #13.
Pick 40 (traded): Darius Kilgo as middle linebacker at #1.
Pick 52 (traded): Derron Smith as weak side linebacker at #5.
Pick 58 (own): Noen André as #X.

Players retiring after season 5:
Tyrann Mathieu, side line protector and last resort wrestling wonder, retires early to leave room for a FA before round 7, S5. He will be deeply missed!
Michael Mauti, a great leader and a tough man, retires from his position as strong side linebacker. He played 4 great seasons for the Trolls, and in his last matches he bravely wore no helmet!
Jared Smith, our O-line kingpin, retires from his important position as center. He played 4 great seasons for the Trolls, enabling our one turn touchdown play!
Nathan Aidan, the two match rookie blitzer, is released from his DLA-contract due to lack of improvement.
John Anderson, the five match rookie lineman, is released from his DLA-contract due to lack of improvement.
John Jenkins, enters S5 as a free agent, gaining SPP and showing great promise without injuries, but is released from contract during D6 to free up wardrobe space for Darius Kilgo.

Draftees for season 5:
Pick 13 (traded): Reinfried Kuselmann as QB at #10.
Pick 15 (own): Peschel Haigerman as versatile Z | X | Y receiver at #8.
Pick 26 (traded): Kenjon Barner as OT-TD "talent in training" receiver at #14.
Pick 30 (own): Kyle Long, the outcast, as a pulling DT | G at #15.
Pick 45 (own): Cooper Taylor as a fast weak side linebacker, WILL, at #5.
Pick 60 (own): Reid Fragel as an immovable DT | G at #16.

Players retiring after season 4:
Kendall Wright, One Turn Touchdown all-round receiver marvel.
Jack Crawford, sturdy Tight End and Corner Back, retire with a fractured leg.
Sean Porter retire after just one season, suffering from a Fractured Skull and AV drop in the S4 Semi Finals, to give room for a third blitzer in the S4 Championship Final.
Lucas Crawford retires after standing in for his brother in the S4 finals, to give room for professionals from the draft.

Trolls Hall of Fame:
Zach Ertz was killed by apothecary miss-treatment during a routine operation in the fourth season six game against the Hillkrest Huskies. Zach was an excellent allrounder, playing both outside linebacker and running back, his superior skills contributing greatly to the Trolls Season 4 Champions Title. Also, Zach taught by example, developing the "Stopp a stall" play for our playbook: pushing stallers into our endzone to gain more time for our offence to score a TD.

Sean Renfree was fouled and killed by B.J.Daniels as the last seconds ran out in the Season 4 Finals. His fine skills as the team QB was essential to the season 4 playbook and in securing the Championship. He will be missed sorely in season 5. R.I.P.
