TEAM BIO Pitsplurge is a lawless and filthy mining city sprawling out of the Black Mountains, inhabited by goblins, skaven, snotlings and trolls. These mongrels rarely get on with each other except when mining and forging steel weaponry - which has made them rich - and using their ill-gotten gains to field a professional Blood Bowl team. They are nicknamed the Squealers for the horrific cries that continuously emanate from the mine pits, forges, and of course their 100,000-seater shining Blood Bowl stadium. The Squealers are particularly proud of their hard-hitting but all-inclusive and non-discriminatory team ethos - they will happily slaughter anything that stands in their way whether it be human, goblin, skaven, elf, dwarf, giant or small fluffy kitten*, so long as they win. PLAYERS Big Den Frothysplurger is one of the most famous trolls in the game, having achieved 64,088 vomiting yards and two Super Bowel titles. *** Did you know... The Squealers have one of the most terrifying mascots in Blood Bowl, Squealy McBeam. A hideous mixture of goblin, giant rat, troll and yellow-checked shirt, nobody has yet dared to find out if he is in costume or is indeed some horrific monster hybrid from the deeper caves. Squealy charges around the stands wildly swinging a large steel beam and making unintelligible guttural screeches, or at least he does when he isn't languishing in the dungeon for maiming swathes of opposition fans. The Squealers are also famous as one of the first sides to field a cheerleader squad. However as the cheerleaders were invariably even more hideous than Squealy, they were soon disbanded to avoid scaring the players and persuade some fans to actually enter the stadium.
